watch: orphan black season 2

After a year-long wait, Orphan Black is finally back! Season 2 premiered over the weekend, and my goodness, episode 1 pa lang ba talaga to?! Hindi ako makahinga, okay. The season picks up right where season 1 ended, and I am happy to report that Tatiana Maslany is still awesome. I missed seeing her face several times in several ways simultaneously hahaha. Also: Delphine’s hair game is still fucking on, jfc. Ganda mo pa rin ‘teh. Kaw na.

I don’t want to spoil the new episode, but here’s one of the trailers for this season for your ~enjoyment.

The amazing Orphan Black tumblr has a list up re: where you can catch the premiere here.

waiting for April: Game of Thrones! Orphan Black!

You know what keeps me alive these days? Knowing that new good seasons of TV are afoot. (Well, that, among many other things. But most especially that.)

Coming this April: New Game of Thrones and new Orphan Black!

i. Game of Thrones

I still haven’t watched Season 3 ep 10 because I intend to watch it close to the Season 4 premiere on April 6th.

I mean, have you seen this trailer:

HOLY SHIT.

ps I no longer harbor the illusion of actually finishing Clash of Kings, but who knows. I might pick it up again… after grad school. Haha.

ii. Orphan Black

GUYS. You should be halfway done with your Season 1 catch-up now BECAUSE the second season of Orphan Black is premiering April 19th.

Truth be told, it’s the only fandom where fans actually debate re: which character they’re looking at. (Hahaha)

Here’s a sneak peek into Season 2 released last night by Entertainment Weekly:

And the fans be like: Is that Clone A wearing Clone B’s EYELINER? How the fuck did she manage to sneak a gun into Clone C’s office?

Good lord, Tatiana Maslany. How awesome are you?

My life is someone else’s experiment.

CHILLS, YOU GUYS. I don’t know about you, but I think I could use the Thursdays of March to recap Orphan Black, y/y?

Speaking of new tv this year: We also can’t wait for Season 2 of Orange is the New Black (June 6th, if I remember correctly) but to my mind, that’s still kind of far. I’ll be spazzing about that around May.

yearender: 2013 in tv shows

Ah, 2013. Man, this year was a good year to be a lesbian who watches a LOT of tv.

Like, a really, really good year. In a nutshell: This year gave me Tamsin (Lost Girl), Cosima Niehaus and Delphine Cormier (Orphan Black), Alex fucking Vause (Orange is the New Black), and Holly Stewart’s face (Rookie Blue). And in rapid succession at that — God bless you, Tumblr, for being my top rec source for everything obsession-worthy.

In summary: I JUST CANNOT. Not sure exactly how I survived all that obsessing but here I am doing this rundown of favorite moments. Subtitle: Thank you for being awesome this year, Canada!

we interrupt this program: i have too many feelings

The past few weeks have seen a handful of rather explosive episodes and finales, and I therefore conclude: 2013 is the year where all my ships have gone to DIE. *whimpering*

Okay, here’s the thing about me: I care about fictional characters. Like, a lot. I don’t know either why I let myself be sucked into these things, but what the hell. Here we are.

So: Here are a handful of shows that have basically snatched my heart out of my chest these past few months. Warning for: Spoilers, lesbians, cheating, scientists and feelings.  Continue reading we interrupt this program: i have too many feelings
